Terms of Sale

Version 1 — Effective April 15, 2026

These Terms of Sale apply to physical merchandise (such as Pet Tags and Personal Emergency Tags) sold through Stantinel Pets, Stantinel Care, and Stantinel Sitter (each and collectively, the "Application"). They are separate from, and additional to, the Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Application and the safety service.

In these Terms, "we", "our", and "Stantinel" refer to the seller above. "You" refers to the buyer placing an order through the Application.

2. What you're buying

Each item sold through the Stantinel shop is a physical, personalized product — typically a customized Pet Tag or Personal Emergency Tag customized with information you provide (such as your pet's name and your Stantinel QR code).

Because every item is custom-made to your specifications, we cannot resell or restock it.

Your order becomes a binding contract when your payment is successfully processed by Stripe. Until that moment, we may decline an order for any lawful reason — for example, if the customization text appears to violate our acceptable use policy, if the order looks fraudulent, or if we cannot reasonably ship to the requested address.

5. Customization approval

Before payment, we will show you the exact customization that will appear on your item and ask you to explicitly approve it. We will manufacture the item using exactly the text and layout you approved.

You are responsible for checking the spelling, formatting, and accuracy of your customization before approving. Because the item is personalized, we cannot accept returns or refunds based on customization choices you approved.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a customization error that is our fault (not yours), please tell us within 14 days of receiving it by emailing [email protected] or by using the "Report a problem" feature in the Application. Photos of the issue are extremely helpful.

9. Returns

Because each item is custom-made for you, we do not accept returns of non-defective items. Please review your customization carefully before approving it. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details and exceptions.

10. Warranty and limitation of liability

We warrant that your item will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time it leaves our supplier's facility. Beyond this, the item is sold "as is".

A Stantinel Pet Tag or Personal Emergency Tag is a physical accessory designed to complement the Stantinel safety service. It is not itself a safety device, and its presence on a pet, keyring, or other object does not guarantee any particular outcome. The Stantinel service operates separately and is governed by the Stantinel Terms of Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from the sale of an item is limited to the amount you paid for that item.

The shipping address and customization details you provide are used to fulfill your order and are shared with our fulfillment partners strictly for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information, including the list of fulfillment partners.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version in effect at the time you placed your order. We keep prior versions on file and will provide a copy on request.
